This SPD has been prepared by a team of consultants on behalf of Taunton Deane Borough Council. It sets out the Council's approach to planning obligations (also known as Section 106 agreements) in respect of delivering major proposals in Taunton town centre and generic contributions towards services and infrastructure that will be required from housing sites. The objective is to provide greater clarity to local authority officers, developers, landowners, designers and other interested stakeholders. The SPD will be used as a material consideration in determining the appropriateness of any development proposal and planning application.
The SPD was adopted on December 9th 2008. As this is a finished document no comments can be made.
